Co-Founder & CEO
Peter Young is a real estate investor and fund manager with a significant track record in investing in the developed markets of the UK, Western Europe, US and Australia across multiple real estate sectors. Peter has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore, and is a frequent real estate commentator on real estate and Asia capital.
Peter manages capital and co-invests alongside Family Offices, High Net Worth Individuals and Institutional Investors across debt and equity in specialist real estate sectors, including purpose built student accommodation, multifamily housing, co-living and the senior housing sector. As CEO of QIP, Peter oversees the regulated asset management business and leads the team in sourcing and managing strategic investment opportunities with primarily Asia-based clients seeking overseas alternative real estate investment.
Prior to QIP, Peter held the role of Executive Director of IP Investment Management and Investment Director of IP Global, and successfully originated in excess of USD300m in assets under management of real estate private equity and debt.
Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in Australia and has degrees in Commerce & Law.
EU KHOON ANG
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Eu Khoon Ang is an entrepreneur with a successful track record in managing, operating and exiting a wide range of venture capital and private equity businesses. He has over 20 years of business experience in Asia, and his industry expertise covers e-commerce and financial technology, where he is widely acknowledged as key contributor. Eu Khoon works closely with the capital raising team in QIP.
Eu Khoon is also currently the Managing Director of his family business San Leasing. He advises early-stage investee companies, such as Artificial Intelligence start-up SoMin.ai, providing strategic advisory and mentoring on business development and capital raising. He is also an investment partner of Fintonia Group.
Eu Khoon holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting & Finance) degree from the London School of Economics.
Head of Investment
Ben is an internationally qualified real estate expert with over 15 years’ experience sourcing, structuring and executing real estate investments. Ben has represented the full spectrum of Asia-based investors, from Private Individuals to Institutional Investors, in deploying capital into developed and emerging economies, including The Americas, Europe, The Middle East and Asia. Ben has successfully executed a range of real estate transactions valued between US$5m to US$500m.
At QIP, Ben is responsible for the firm’s investment efforts, from strategy and product development, to deal origination and asset acquisition, to investment corporate governance and post-investment services. Ben previously held managerial roles in Nord Anglia, IP Global, and Deloitte Real Estate.
Ben is a RICS Chartered Surveyor and holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Applied Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Property Economics from Queensland University of Technology.
Head of Sales (Ex-Korea)
Alex has over 20 years of experience in the financial services space with the last decade being spent in Real Estate building distribution networks across Asia and Europe. He advises a broad range of clients (High Net Worth Individuals, Single Family Offices, Multi Family Offices, External Asset Managers, Wealth Managers and Institutions) on investing in bespoke institutional-grade, real estate investment solutions. Alex heads the capital raising arm of QIP (ex-Korea).
In his career to date, Alex has advised on a total global real estate investment portfolio exceeding USD400m across a client base covering Singapore, Hong Kong and western Europe. Prior to joining QIP, Alex was a Director and Key Executive Officer at IP Global Singapore, where he advised clients on real estate portfolios, and originated the western European office based out of Switzerland. He was also the Responsible Officer for the Hong Kong-based private equity real estate arm of IP Global.
Alex is REA certified by the Council of Estate Agencies in Singapore and holds a Bachelor (Honours) degree in modern languages from the University of Bradford in the UK. Alex also attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was subsequently commissioned into the British Army.
Head of Sales (Korea)
Bruce has 30 years of experience in capital markets and investment banking, covering private equity, fixed income and alternative investment products. He heads the capital raising arm of QIP (Korea), and develops and maintains favourable relationships with strategic investors.
Prior to joining QIP, Bruce focused on sourcing alternative investments (primarily real estate) for Korean Institutional Investors. Bruce previously worked at Samsung Securities as Head of Debt Capital Markets, where he saw through the execution of Korea’s first Shogun bond issuance, as well as Samsung’s first Samurai bond transaction. Bruce has also held roles at J.P. Morgan and Merrill Lynch, where he led the Korea team’s distressed debt business. Bruce was also Head of Korean Fixed Income Distribution at UBS and Bear Stearns Asia.
Bruce holds a Masters of Arts in International Affairs and a Master of Arts in Asian History from Columbia University. He received his Bachelor’s degree at Swarthmore College, and has also studied at Yonsei University.
Craig has extensive global business experience with a successful track record in managing and operating asset and wealth management consulting and distribution businesses across Asia. He has over 18 years of experience working with real estate private equity fund managers and asset owners in identifying and implementing best practices across all facets of a business. Craig oversees QIP’s corporate and fund governance matters, including compliance, risk management and internal and external audit functions.
Craig is also the Managing Director of Unite Consulting and Director of Bula Global Trade. He was previously the Business Leader for Mercer Sentinel Growth Markets region for Mercer Investments, where he advised clients in Asia and the Middle East on operational risk, operating model design, custodian selection and IT systems. Prior to joining Mercer, Craig was the Investment Control Team Leader of MLC Limited, the wealth management arm of National Australia Bank.
Craig is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Macquarie University, Australia.
Stefenie has over 5 years of corporate working experience in the financial and real estate industries. She is responsible for managing the company’s middle and back office fund payments, administration and operations. She also supports the QIP team on matters relating to compliance, corporate and fund governance, as well as the review and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices within the industry.
Stefenie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, majoring in marketing, from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Singapore. Stefenie is fluent in Mandarin and English.
Business Development Manager
Cheryl is part of QIP’s business development team, handling capital raising efforts as well as investor relations and client administration. She leads QIP’s strategic initiatives in public relations and marketing, and also supports partner and intermediary engagement efforts, having recently organised Singapore’s first global co-living summit in 2019.
Prior to QIP, Cheryl started her career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and has also worked in investment banking as well as fund management. Cheryl has experience in deal origination and distribution, as well as investors and intermediaries relationship management.
Cheryl graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (Accountancy), majoring in Finance and Accountancy from the National University of Singapore with second upper class honours. Cheryl is fluent in Mandarin and English.
AN RUI ANG
An Rui is part of QIP’s investment team, conducting financial modelling and due diligence for deal origination, as well as assisting the team with the execution of the real estate asset life cycle.
An Rui holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons), majoring in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
Patrick is part of QIP’s investment team, and assists the team with conducting financial modelling and real estate sector analysis to originate and execute real estate private equity transactions across multiple markets. Patrick previously interned with Singapore Press Holdings as a finance intern.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons), majoring in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore. Patrick is fluent in Mandarin and English.
Aaron has over 5 years of experience in external audit covering the real estate, engineering and construction industries, and over 2 years of experience in finance and project management in the engineering and construction industry. Aaron oversees QIP’s finance and operations functions, and works closely with the senior management team to develop strategic fund management business initiatives that contribute to QIP’s long-term operational excellence, such as improving operational systems, processes and policies.
Prior to joining QIP, Aaron was a Financial Controller at an Engineering Company, where he oversaw the financial and accounting functions, including forecasting and budgeting, financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, and internal controls systems. Aaron was also an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and was involved in the execution of statutory audits in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing on financial statements of private limited and public-listed companies for both local and international clients.
Aaron is a Qualified Accountant, and a member of both the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) with a Minor in Business from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
Vivian has over 5 years of experience in accounting and auditing. Vivian is part of QIP’s finance and operations team, providing support in management accounting, financial reporting, as well as human resource and payroll services.
Vivian previously held roles in accounting and business services companies, where she was responsible for management reporting, GST and MAS reporting. Vivian was also involved in the execution of statutory audits in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing on financial statements of private limited and public-listed companies.
Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom.
